Decent loft bed
This bed took several hours to put up and we definitely needed two people. Be aware, you will need a drill to screw down the slats for the mattress, and for a bracket that attaches the ladder to the bottom of the bed. You could use a regular screwdriver but it will be much more difficult. There are also no holes or marks for where to screw the slats into place. You have to measure the distances between all of them yourself. There is no back to the shelf, which I didn't really think about being a con until we got it up. I'm going to get a piece of wood cut from Menards to put behind it. It's a but wobbly, but for my almost 8 yr old, it's fine. I got some clear, removable mounting circles to put under her jewelry box and other items to make sure they don't fall off until I can get a back to the shelves. We had some extra screws, and some supplies we had just enough. Some boards are a bit warped so there are gaps in a few spots, but that's not a big deal to me. Overall, it's a good, budget-friendly loft bed.
