I'm sorry I waited to get one of these. My extra large washer just gave up and I wanted to downsize anyway. Little did I know it's not really a feeling of downsizing. The first time I used it I had 6 heavy, large beach towels and a few hand towels. Once you get used to the settings it runs like the wind. The spin cycle is far better than the full size machine that just croaked. I bought the little dolly and put it in my bathroom closet when I'm done. Use my bathroom sink faucet to run it and empty it into my tub. I did buy an extra hose connector but ended up having enough room to use the one provided. Easy and happy.
It has done well so far. It's not large capacity so you have to plan what to load. Small items like socks and underwear are no problem. 3 pair of men's pants will get the legs twisted up. But when loaded appropriately, it does a good job.
A lot of reviews said their portable washer was received used, with scratches, etc. The washer came wrapped in plastic and was packaged very well. The drum of the washer was slightly damp, but it says they test every product before shipping, so that was expected. This portable washer beats all others out there! The air dry cycle gets most clothes dry, and the ones that are still damp air dry very quickly.
We live in a walk up with the laundry in the basement! This little washer works perfectly for my family of 3. It washes, agitates, rinses perfectly! I ordered the soap sheets and the deodorant pods for lightweight supplies. I did end up needing the converter for my bathroom sink and easily attached a drain hose lengthener so the water comes into the machine through my sink and rinses into my bathtub, I ordered the wheels to easily move the machine after each use. I also ordered the lint catchers to float inside the washer. I use the normal setting (45 min) for heavy duty and fast (22) for everyday clothes. I love it, hang the clothes in my shower and the dry overnight. Sooo much better than going up and down flights of stairs repeatedly.
I am a RV travler. I didn't expect this little machine can do the job. But this is the far more best little machine i've ever owned. Not once broke down and all of my laundry done on this machine but the large blankets. It is THE BEST! I've been using this machine for 3 years now and still not a problem. Very well made. Don't get the expensive machine. They are not money worth. I bought a big machine for my home it broke once already. It fixed but still feel like shit. But I can rely on this little machine more than anything. by the way I use this machine every other day. I have a big family.
So it fits my sink perfectly, I put the clothes in with a small amount of soap and fabric softener and walk away. At first the hose hopped out of my sink and got water on the floor. I noticed the plastic side piece unhook from the dryer and you latch both hoses in the sink. I was floored when there was a cool dry setting so my dryer can dry faster. I'm in love with the settings on this thing. There was no other flaws so it fit well. It's about the same size as my dishwasher. It holds a few outfits, so that's a plus
I did not bother with the hoses or sink faucet adapter that came with this. Spent a little more money at a hardware store and connected it directly to the supply under my kitchen sink. It does a good job of washing clothes and the spin function helps wring them out but you will still want a dryer or drying rack. The machine is not too noisy outside of the beeps that tell you it's finished
Still holds up after almost a year of use. There is a bit of a learning curve to the programmable cycles, but nothing that can't be figured out after a couple washes. The only thing I dislike is the fabric softener reservoir. It's too close to the outside of the actual drum. Otherwise this continues to be a great purchase!
Works perfectly. I used a little plumbers tape on the connection. Used intake hose that comes with washer. Absolutely no leaks. Able to handle all my laundry without a single problem. Even throw rugs. Very quiet. I have it on a dolly It wheels over to my kitchen sink. Fits neatly against the wall when not in use. I highly recommend this product.
it's amazing. getting everything hooked up might be tricky. I took screenshots of what everyone else said and went to Home Depot. They ended up cutting the end that Doesn't attach to the machine, off, and attaching some other pieces so I could screw it on and off of my shower hose (after taking off the handheld shower attachment - I put it back on when I'm done and haven't had any leaks while showering or with using the washing machine. My apartment has shared coin laundry and maintenence isn't the best. I don't have any pets, but everyone else in the building does. I was digusted when I investigated the washing machines and immediately started looking for a solution. After reading lots of reviews I took a leap and bought this one. I got a dolly like everyone else to move it around. You won't regret it, it's already paid for itself with my peace of mind and convenience. It's not that loud, not any louder than a regular washer imo.
I needed to buy a platform on rollers for it. The hose worked on my kitchen sink. The drain works good, so long as you remember to put it in the sink... I don't think anyone, other than me, will forget to do that more than once; might be a good idea to put the drain in the tub when not in use, rather than hang it on the side. I washed a quilt today using the "blanket" setting. Worked well. Excellent value, if it lasts for a while. Been using it now about a month without problems.
Absolutely love my little washer! Just remember it's little so do not overload it. I wish it was a little larger capacity but great for its purpose of small spaces. I've had it for quite sometime now and it's still like brand new an very efficient. If your in a small space or battle ptsd an don't want to be around people then I highly recommend this washer. You won't be disappointed, it'll pay itself off in money saved while being comfortable at home in under 2 years.
Love this machine and well worth the money. Space wise its bigger than most portables but that's what I wanted. I love the larger cubic feet size. On wheels it is easily manuverable and I absolutely love it. The tub is much larger and I'm over joyed that they finally made a larger tub. I can wash bigger bulkier articles like sheets and bed covers easily. One tip if your having to move it to the sink, purchasing the adjustable moving rack is well worth doing. I'm in a very small apartment but love not having to still go to a laundry mat to wash larger articles. Can't say enough. If your looking for a larger tub cubic foot wise this is a great machine. Can't say enough....runs like a charm! I gave a 4 on small spaces only because it is larger than normal portables.(but certainly not too big) But I have no troubles in my little apartment saves me a lot of money and paid for itself almost immediately. Great Buy!!!
I dont even remember when I purchased this thing. A year ago maybe? I was super anxious about picking the right one and I picked right! It works really well. The Normal wash takes about an hour (fills up 3 times) and the quick wash takes about a half hour (fills up 2 times). It agitates and cleans the clothes really well and has a spot for fabric softener also. It has a safety feature that protects you incase you open the lid on the spin cycle, it literally screams at you and stops instantly. The adaptor that came with it fits perfectly on my sink so i didn't have to buy anything else for it. I did purchase a rolling base for it bc I need to move it around my kitchen and it's heavy.
I'm happy with the washer but extremely disappointed in company. I emailed them numerous times when it arrived asking them why there was a white crusty film inside and if it was ok to use which I sent pictures but they totally disregarded it. I also could not hook it up to my sink and spent additional money buying differnet hoses an adapters/etc. I asked for help and they asked for pictures and I emailed numerous times just asking for a recommendation on what would fit as I was eager to try it out and washed away the white crust hoping it would be alright. I finally gave up after the last email from them asking for a video. This had been going on for a month and I feel as though they were making a joke of this and in NO WAY to treat customers buying their products. Within 2 months I was able to figure it out and had to change my bathroom faucet. Cleans well but customer service is totally useless.
I've lived in an apartment in Los Angeles for over 15 years and over time my tolerance for sharing a tiny, 2 washer laundry room with a dozen other tenants has worn thin. None of the units here have hookups and it's against the leasing arrangement to have them installed - something about overloading the pipes. I'm no plumber, so it's all magic to me. I'm frankly also sick and tired of seeing quarters as a mystical currency to be hoarded only to be sacrificed to the detergent deities every week. Then I learned that portable options existed...finally. I currently have mine hooked up in my spare downstairs half-bathroom. The water line runs right to the sink and the draining tube routes directly into the toilet. It couldn't be easier. With the door closed, the noise is barely even an issue and my clothes come up just as clean as they ever have in a full sized commercial washer. I'm a big fan of this little unit. The only downside is the comically awful instructions - place unit down on some soft thing....put the remarkable face outside...ooook. Once you know how it works and it's up and running though, it's great.
My review will be a little strange one since we used it successfully for two years and now it wouldn't drain fully showing some error code. But I love this little power machine, still will give it five stars and determined to figure out how to take it apart and clean whatever needs to be cleaned to make it work again. Anybody tried to access the inside, the "back" side of a drum? I'm pretty sure something got clogged there.
We purchased this washer to use for just a short period of time during home renovations involving our laundry room. Several unexpected projects and two years later, this little guy continues to work beautifully. Set up was tricky, taking a few runs to the hardware store for the connection parts, but once quick connect parts were sorted out it was a snap to set up. The controls could be more intuitive, but we attached a cheat-sheet to the back of the washer for quick reference. It holds about a medium-sized load (level laundry basket). If it's overloaded it's prone to stop and beep. until tended. It seems gentle on clothes and washes them well. It's a little slow, taking about an hour per load on regular cycle, but it's fully automatic and needs no attention during that time. The quicker cycles understandably don't seem to clean as well. The spin dry cycle can be run separately which is handy and can cut down on drying time when washing heavier items. We placed it on a dolly to improve mobility. Both the Spacecare Mobile Roller with 8 Locking Wheels - Adjustable Furniture Dolly Washing Machine Stand and the Stalwart 82-43752 Mobile Roller with 4 Locking Wheels-Heavy Duty Furniture and Appliance Portable Adjustable Base Rolling Dolly Cart (both on Amazon) seem to work equally well. We put some sticky-backed felt on the stand under the washer feet to dampen vibration and noise and that seems to have worked well. We're happy with this little guy.
This machine has definitely made my life easier and made doing laundry efficient. It gets my clothes practically dry and operates quietly. I had the same problem as everyone else with finding the correct adapters and found the tips in the reviews very helpful... My ongoing problem is that water remains in the inlet/outlet hoses after a load finishes and it smells terrible (mildew) after a few days. When I finish laundry, I unhook the inlet hose from the faucet, put both hoses in a bucket on the floor, and maneuver them in a way to encourage the water to flow out. Despite this, a little water remains to spoil. One solution is the unhook the hoses from the machine (as well as the faucet), but I'm afraid of stripping the threads after repeated use. The other solution to wash a load every 2 days. This is working for me now, but it's not a long term solution. Any suggestions?
